Something’s not right

Most problems have a simple reason: a role, a branch, a missing signal, or a step that has to come first. Find yours below, app by app — each answer says why it happens and what to do. Each app’s guide has more questions at its end.

Signing in

My password doesn’t work.

Check capital letters in the password (not in a username). After ten wrong tries in 15 minutes the account pauses for 15 minutes. Use Forgot password?, or — if you sign in with a username — ask your manager for a new password.

The six-digit code is always wrong.

Your phone’s clock must be right: set it to set the time automatically. A code also works only once. Lost the phone? Use a recovery code, or ask head office to reset your two-step verification (Your account).

I never got the invitation.

Look in spam. Otherwise ask your manager to resend it or give you a temporary password (People & roles).

It says “Too many sign-in attempts from this device.”

Wait a minute and try again. Mihwar allows 5 sign-in tries a minute from one internet connection, so several people signing in together on a branch’s Wi-Fi can reach it.

Anywhere in Mihwar

An app or a button is missing.

What you see follows your role and your branches, and head office may have turned an app off. A missing button usually means someone else does that job. Ask your manager.

I see another branch’s work, or not my own.

You see the branches head office gave you. If one is missing or wrong, ask head office to change your places (People & roles).

Mihwar is in the wrong language, or dates look odd.

Change your language under More → your name. Dates follow your organization’s calendar — Hijri, Gregorian or both — which head office sets for everyone.

An alert didn’t reach me.

The bell gets your alerts unless you unticked In-app for that kind or pressed Mute; alerts about your own work always reach it. E-mail and the phone follow your choices in Settings too. See Alerts.

On the phone

It says my answers are waiting to sync.

You lost the signal. Keep Mihwar open where there is a signal — the answers go by themselves. If it asks you to sign in again, do; nothing is lost.

A run won’t open without a signal.

A page you never opened can’t load offline. Open your runs while you still have a signal.

Checklists

I can’t find today’s checklist.

It may not be for your role or your branch, it may not have opened yet, or it may be paused. Ask your manager to check who does it and where it runs.

It says Missed, but I did the work.

Open it and record what you did. It is kept, marked as recorded late.

“Save and tell my manager” stays grey on a failed critical step.

A failed critical step needs a few words on what you did about it, and a photo. Add both.

I can’t change a step I finished.

Finished steps are locked. A supervisor or manager can press Reopen to edit on the step, with a reason.

More in Checklists.

Quality

The inspection I need isn’t in my list.

The list opens on today. Try this week, planned or all. Some inspections are only for certain roles, and head office’s inspection of your branch shows once it is submitted.

The score passed, but the inspection says Failed.

A critical step failed — that decides the result, whatever the score.

I typed a reading and it disappeared.

Readings are kept only when you press Save on them.

More in Quality.

Scheduling

My team can’t see the shifts I added.

They are still drafts. Press Send to the team.

I can’t clock in.

There must be a shift sent to you today, and clocking in opens an hour before it starts. Your branch may want the clock-in screen instead of your phone. Five wrong PIN tries lock that person for 15 minutes, on every screen: wait, or ask a manager to set a new PIN.

The clock-in screen says I haven’t set a PIN.

Set your 4-digit PIN on your phone in Settings → Security (the card is called Clock-in PIN), or ask a manager to set it.

More in Scheduling.

Labels

The label left out the ingredients.

There was no room: a small label keeps the name, the use-by and the allergens. Use a bigger label size for the rest.

My iPhone can’t find our Bluetooth printer.

Browsers on iPhone can’t use Bluetooth. Print from This phone or tablet to a printer the iPhone can reach, or use the Bluetooth printer from an Android phone.

Work orders

I reported a fault by mistake.

While nobody has taken it, you can cancel your own report with a reason. Otherwise tell a manager.

Why can’t I check my own fix?

A second person checks every fix. Only when nobody else — at the branch or in head office — could check it can you check your own, and it is recorded that way.

More in Work orders & equipment.

Follow-ups

Why can’t I close my own follow-up?

Someone else checks the fix before it closes. If nobody else could, you can close it, and it is marked that way. A linked work order that isn’t fixed yet also keeps it open.

More in Follow-ups.

Documents

I read the procedure but it still asks me to sign.

Opening a document never signs it. Press Sign: I’ve read it at the end.

People have to sign again after a change.

Only when the change asks everyone to sign again. A small fix keeps everyone’s signatures (Documents).

Smart Ordering

The Order boxes are 0 and the rows say “Starting estimate — no history yet”.

Mihwar has no order history to learn from yet. Head office can bring the history in (Importing data), or you type the quantity you need.

I can’t confirm that the delivery arrived.

Confirm receipt appears once the delivery is on its way. Until then the request page shows where it stands (Smart Ordering).

For head office

I can’t remove a person.

They have worked shifts, clocked in or asked for time off, and those records stay. Deactivate them instead (People & roles).

I can’t invite another person.

Your plan has no room. The 14-day trial and Starter hold 5 people, you included, and people still waiting for their first sign-in count. Deactivate someone who has left, or open billing to upgrade (People & roles).

I can’t delete a branch.

Something still points at it. Use Deactivate instead (Organization & branches).

Something should have opened by itself but hasn’t.

Some connections take a minute. If it still hasn’t appeared, open the app’s page of background jobs — Background jobs in Follow-ups, Work orders and Smart Ordering, Scheduler health in Checklists, Quality scheduler in Quality and Scheduling background jobs in Scheduling — to see whether the jobs are running, and tell Mihwar support if one has stopped (How the apps work together).
